Only when you're tripping does this song make sense and then you see God.

Many people consider Mohamed Ali's (then known as Cassius Clay) 1964 spoken word album to include the first rap song ('Sonny Liston').
Other say it was actually The Jubalaires 'Noah', released in 1944.
This Celentano song is brilliant and I love it, but it's far from being the first rap song.

Back then in the early 70s, almost no-one could speak English in most countries outside of the UK and Ireland…people everywhere simply liked the groove….
Btw - Celentano was a frequent guest on German and Austrian TV at that time, and he was even allowed to travel beyond the "Iron Curtain“ - he appeared in the Soviet Union, the ČSSR, Poland, etc. - he was like an unofficial ambassador of Italian culture.

Lol. Off topic, but in Estonia the Lutheran church just got a permit to build what's gonna be the new highest building in the country (an office building, purely to make money from their well located real estate). So we got lots of Babbel jokes going on rn. Especially because they are tearing down a cute historical building to do it.

The other day I saw an edited photo that was meant to mimic what happens to your vision when you're having a stroke. It showed items in a setting that looked familiar, but none of the items or the setting itself was actually recognizable. You might see a book, but it melts into a chair that seems to be coming out of a wall, random stuff like that.
This song is an audio representation of that. Lmao
