edit- ^ Ali Khamis Rashid Al-Neyadi (Arabic: علي خميس راشد النيادي; born 12 November 1977) began his career at the 1996 World U20 Championships 200 m, finishing 7th in his heat.[2] He won his first international medal at the 2000 Gulf Cooperation Council Athletics Championships, running 21.21 seconds for 200 m into a headwind and only finishing behind Mohamed Al-Houti of Oman.[2] At the 2000 Olympics, Al-Neyadi ran 21.93 seconds to finish 7th in his 200 m heat. In 2003, he set the Emirati record in the 100 metres, running 10.49 seconds to win a meeting in Dubai. He qualified for and entered in the 2003 Asian Championships 100 m, but did not start his race there.[2] In 2022, Al-Neyadi acted on the board of the Abu Dhabi Athletics Club based in Abu Dhabi.[3]
